Recycle Center notices

Electronics Day and Shredding are set for Saturday May 13th. Shredding goes from 9am-1145am in front. Electronics is 8am-Noon at far back. No charge for Shredding. For Electronics there is a $20 charge per TV set and computer monitor. THESE ARE THE ONLY DAYS IN 2023 YEAR THESE EVENTS WILL TAKE PLACE.


TIRE COLLECTION DAY is now scheduled for Friday, September 22nd from 9am to 2pm in the far back of the property.


The outside bins always come in Friday @ 3pm AND at 3pm prior to all County holidays.  During that period you can visit the 24/7 bins at Deer Run Park.


If you need an abandon vehicle (up to 3/4 ton) recycled TEXT Dan Katt at (812) 988-4889. Free pick up and no charges!


The Recycle Center does not take light bulbs, paint, cleaning chemicals/hazardous materials, TV sets, electronics or tires unless for specially designated and announced events.

  • If the outdoor bins are full, please do not leave recycling materials on the ground.
  • Please do NOT put trash in recycling bins. Pay-per-bag trash can be left at the Main Office during regular open hours.

Closed weekends and holidays


Outside bins at the Nashville Recycling Center will be closed

at 3 pm on Friday and reopen at 9 am on Monday
